Thanks for the good work you are doing in quality control.but please be fair when it comes to promotions only clinical officers are considered and other allied health professionals are left out. this kills our morale. thanks.AHP member

Good work by the regional supervisor Central. But, does he always have to move with Bukedde crew during his operations? This has brought disrepute to all private health providers in the community!

There is no crime in supervising health facilities with press men because they are the ones who inform the public of the health care standards, How ever, if you feel there was an irregularity please raise it with Mr Kayizzi Micheal or the Head of Inspectorate of AHPC in writing. HR | ADMIN

Thank you for the work done. If one attains a degree in medicine or SWASA, or SWASA/ DS plus a PGD in M&E or MPH, is s/he allowed to register them under the allied council as additional qualifications ? Advise.

If a professional registered with AHPC attains other additional qualifications, we add them to your profile with the council and on your license as additional qualification. # Systems Admin

Dear Sir or Madam, I am a German paramedic and would like to work in an emergency service or hospital for a short period next year. I am also planning to offer some two- to four week trainings for community first responders to emergency situations(Emergency Medical Technicians) and for first-aid-instructors. Could you please advise me whether there is a possibility to register as a paramedic in Uganda, whether the training courses need to be registered in any way and who to contact? Some short information concerning my own training: Training of paramedics in Germany is 1,5-2 year vocational training at a paramedic school, it includes professional first aid, basic and advanced life support, apllication of some drugs (e.g. adrenaline, glucose, saline solutions etc.) when there is critical condition and no doctor available as well as monitoring patients during transport. I also hold a bachelor“s degree in psychology and a "certificate of pedagogical aptitude for vocational training" issued by a German chamber of commerce. I would be very grateful for an answer, yours sincerely, Jan Rose
